If so here's a job for you to consider..

I'm working with a scale-up who are part of Germany's largest e-commerce giant, and up until May 2022 they were operating in stealth mode where they developed the first version of their payment platform which serves their mother company and wider group.

For context, the platform went live in July 2022 (with a newer version released last Summer) and now processes over 2 billion euros in transactional data (all of their mother companies online purchases and activity).

The company being relatively new brings certain benefits that you don't see in larger, established companies : much less legacy code + more greenfield development;

a fluid, dynamic working culture which is evolving continuously; excitement of a start-up feel in a very stable and profitable "household name" company.

In total there are around 150 employees, and around 60 in the IT department, comprising of 7-8 product teams.

What my client are looking for?

  • A very experienced software engineer with several years experience in agile IT teams, systems and products, ideally developed using Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin and AWS (all serverless here)
  • Someone who has experience with architecture topics, and who can technically lead the team of the other 7 dev's around them.

Ideally you bring experience in such a role where you have been subject matter expert and tech lead already, but you can still apply if you are looking to step-up!

  • A true innovator that doesn't just settle with things as they are, but who pushes things forward technically by implementing new technologies as they see fit
  • Would be great if someone has experience in FinTec, finance or regulated environments, but this is not a must-have
