Senior Software Engineer (3D Vision)

European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading robotics company, based in Stuttgart, who are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 3D Vision experience to join their team.

In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions related to computer vision, 3D imaging, and automation. Your expertise will contribute to improving efficiency and productivity in industrial processes.

Responsibilities as Senior Software Engineer (3D Vision) :

• Develop and implement computer vision algorithms and models to extract meaningful information from visual data.
• Work with software engineers to integrate computer vision technology into large-scale automation systems.
• Optimize computer vision models for real-time performance on embedded devices or web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutions.
• Design and implement industrial automation systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for automation projects.
• Write efficient and reliable code using relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, C++).
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration of vision and automation components.
• Create detailed documentation for computer vision algorithms, system architecture, and automation processes.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for vision-related features.
• Stay informed about advancements in computer vision, 3D imaging, and automation technologies. Explore new tools, libraries, and techniques to enhance system performance and accuracy.
