Technical Support Manager / Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: France or Germany
Start Date: September/October 2026

To strengthen our customer proximity and technical support capabilities in the German-speaking market, we are seeking an Application Engineer. Acting as a key interface between customers, sales teams, and technical departments, you will contribute your technical expertise throughout the entire sales process and help build long-term relationships with our European partners.

Through your strong market presence and deep understanding of customer applications, you will support projects before, during, and after the sales process while contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Application Engineering

• Support product development projects by applying technical expertise to ensure the optimal use of Tecumseh products at customer sites.

• Provide technical support to customers before, during, and after the sales process.

• Analyze technical requirements and recommend the most suitable solutions.

• Support sales teams during customer visits, trade fairs, and strategic meetings.

• Manage technical inquiries and customer complaints requiring advanced technical expertise.

• Conduct testing, analysis, and technical evaluations.

• Prepare technical reports and documentation for customers.

• Serve as the key liaison between customers and the Research & Development (R&D) department.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Participate in the analysis of quality issues reported by the market.

• Ensure the consistency and relevance of technical solutions proposed to customers.

• Gather and analyze customer feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services.

• Work closely with Quality, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Business Development & Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers and business partners.

• Deliver technical seminars, training sessions, and customer presentations.

• Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and supporting business development activities.

• Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and professional networking meetings.

• Actively monitor market trends and customer needs.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, preferably specializing in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering.

• Solid professional experience in an industrial B2B environment.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships at a senior level.

• Strong technical expertise combined with a customer-focused and sales-oriented mindset.

• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

• Good knowledge of the German market, its industrial landscape, and business culture.

• Ability to work successfully in an international and multicultural environment.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.

Salary Range

55k - 60k
