What do you contribute?

You’ll create impact by designing locomotive controls functional software and technical coordination of a developer team.

This includes the whole engineering process from requirements definition via system design to implementation and continuous improvement.

• You develop functional concepts and specify system requirements for software and hardware.
• You design, develop and test PLC software applications for locomotive controls.
• You coordinate and technically lead a team of software developers.
• You coordinate with other departments and project teams for cross functional topics and integration solutions.
• You ensure system development according to general and railway standards.
• You focus your work on the reusability of work results in terms of product and technical platform strategies.

What do you bring along?

• You have more than 4 years of standard studies plus extended subject-specific additional qualification.
• You excel in a strong understanding of PLC controls and automation technology.
• You gained many years of experience in the railway business.
• You have experience in leading a team of system engineers .
• You’d describe yourself as team player with excellent communication skills .
• You communicate fluently in German and English.
• You are open for occasional, international business travels (approx. 10%).
