Postdoctoral Research Fellow (m/f/d)
We investigate the cellular and systemic basis of metabolic diseases, such as diabetes, obesity and metabolic fatty liver disease with the aim of deciphering the mechanisms of disease development and discovering potential therapeutic approaches.
Your tasks :
- Planning and realization of experimental studies in protein biochemistry and cell biology in mouse models
- Biochemical, cell biological and immunofluorescence analysis of cell and tissue samples
- Complex data analysis, including Omics data and graphical documentation and evaluation for presentations and reports
- Identification of funding opportunities, supporting the development and writing of grant applications
- Preparation of publications, contribution to staff training and supervison of students
Your skills :
- PhD in cell biology, biochemistry or related subjects
- Working experience in hepatocellular metabolism and physiology including the use of primary cell culture and mouse models
- Proficiency in applying complex methods in molecular biology, cell biology and data analysis
- A strong academic track record, excellent communication skills and proficiency in English; international experience is a plus
- Team spirit, reliabilty, initiative, creativity and organizational talent
