YOUR ROLE
- Researches and develops ground-breaking technologies.
- Steers and facilitates knowledge sharing and supports project teams in solving problems.
- Secures IP position in own area of development.
- Contributes actively in scientific publications and forums with papers and presentations.
- Identifies opportunities for new technology, products or performance improvements.
- Leads one or multiple R&D projects critical to business.
- Identifies and engages valuable external partners.
YOUR SKILLS
- Ph.D with 5-10 years industrial experience in a chemistry, chemical engineering or material sciences.
- Experience preferred on track record of commercial success with formulations (wide chemistries (thermosets : epoxies, acrylates, urethanes, etc.
- with different additives.
- Detailed knowledge of polymer chemistry (including both polymerization and structure property aspects of the science) is necessary.
- Experience in characterization of materials using different analytical tools (microscopy and usual thermal mechanical characterization (DMA, DSC etc..)
- Application and chemical knowledge of coatings / adhesive experience is preferred.
- Technology scouting experience preferred.
The salary for this role is $110,000.00 - $140,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
