As a result, it is responsible for the selection, provision, operation and continuing development of IT infrastructure, IT platforms and business applications.

In order to provide IT solutions that optimally support the departments’ business processes, Schwarz IT addresses the departments’ requirements in consultations and works with them to develop professional and effective IT solutions.

Your tasks

• Develop innovative data products and architectures that improve our business processes
• Take analytical applications from proof-of-concept to production and ensure their quality and sustainability
• Work on improving the software development process and set new standards for development and deployment
• Use your skills as a software engineer to translate the requirements of AI products into productive applications
• Work in interdisciplinary agile teams with data scientists, data engineers, product owners and specialist departments
• Share your knowledge and experience with your team colleagues and support them in solving technical problems

Your profile

• You are enthusiastic about software development and the creation of innovative data products
• You have a degree in computer science or a comparable degree programme or are a talented lateral entrant
• You have some experience in software development, e.g. with Python or Java
• You have knowledge of application architecture and the software development cycle (e.g. CI / CD, DevOps, testing)
• You are interested in cloud, containerisation and big data and would like to develop further in these areas
• You are analytical, agile and independent and have a hands-on mentality
• You have a very good command of English and German
