About the Role
You are the project lead for ADAS open road data collection campaigns. In this role you are involved in MAGNA Electronics’ major product projects.
You work closely with leading OEMs and outstanding suppliers in the ADAS fields.
Your Responsibilities
- Leading of data collection campaign projects. In this regard, you are responsible for quality, cost, and time targets of the campaign.
- To this end, you align on the scope of the data collection campaign with the main product project responsible and stakeholders from other domains and create project plans with time, quality, and cost targets.
- You commission suppliers for the execution of the data collection campaign in collaboration with our Purchasing and Legal departments.
- To achieve project success, you manage internal and external suppliers closely by tracking result quality and cost status.
- You create reports and present the project status to MAGNA Management (up to Vice President level) and customers on a regular basis.
- You conduct risk analyses and manage risks by defining and implementing mitigation measures.
- Depending on the scope of the data collection campaign, you lead a group of data collection engineers (technical lead) to achieve project goals and fulfil requirements / quality criteria.
Who we are looking for
- Master’s / diploma degree in industrial engineering, mechanical / electrical engineering automotive engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Comprehensive knowledge of English / German (speak & write)
- Project management experience in the automotive domain, preferably within a similar role
- Structured and target oriented work methods
- High degree of commitment and assertiveness
Your preferred qualifications
- Strong focus on results with the ability to prioritize tasks to achieve high added value results
- Experiences with ADAS systems is a plus
- Leadership skills
