Head of Software Engineering (m/f/d)
One of the trailblazers in Germany's fast-growing IT sector is looking for a hands-on Head of Software Engineering to provide inspirational disciplinary and technical leadership to build and maintain their SaaS product line.
Responsibilities
- Develop and mentor your team members while creating a healthy feedback culture
- Lead your team in an agile environment, improving workflows in a dynamic business
- Recruit and grow your team sustainably
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX to deliver customer value
- Coordinate stakeholders to prioritize effectively
- Guide your team to produce high-quality, secure, and operable code using modern agile practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and agile methodologies
Experience Required
- 5+ years of leadership experience in Software Engineering, including technical and people management
- Strong understanding of SaaS architectures and system designs
- Proven track record in professional software development
- Proficient in agile practices and advocate of modern engineering methodologies
- Fluent in English with excellent international communication skills
- Highly collaborative, focused on achieving optimal solutions
