As part of global corporate communications at Mercedes-Benz AG, we are responsible in the "Business and Finance" team for external and internal communications in the areas of finance, strategy, purchasing and cooperations, as well as for editing the corporate website group.mercedes-benz.com.

The spectrum of our work is correspondingly broad : in addition to communicating our business results and sales figures, we also cover topics such as the stock market, purchasing, cooperations, strategy and technology.

We inform external media and employees about the economic and financial situation of our company. We also create journalistic articles and publish them on our online platforms.

We identify and use the right approach and the most suitable communication channels and formats for our various target groups.

Editing the corporate website

During your time with us, you will support the editorial team of our corporate website group.mercedes-benz.com in the areas of company, strategy, innovation, investors and magazine.

You will research and create articles and see them through to publication. You will work both editorially and with our content management system.

In addition to editorial interest and understanding, you will have a good eye for the visualization of articles and websites.

Your tasks will include

• Editorial work : planning, researching and writing articles for group.mercedes-benz.com as well as for other channels in our division.
• Working in the content management system of the corporate website. Creating article and distribution pages, integrating photos, videos and documents.
• Cross-team support in the context of events.
• Support with topic planning for the corporate website.
• Independent supervision and implementation of editorial project tasks.
• Participation in the further development of the content and design of the website.

If available, we would also be pleased to receive editorial work samples.

Qualifikationen

• Degree program : Degree in communication sciences, journalism, economics (business administration / economics), German studies or a comparable degree program
• Language skills : Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• IT skills : Confident handling of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), affinity for Web 2.0 activities.
• Personal skills : strong communication skills, reliability, organizational talent, diligence, commitment, creativity and humor, curiosity and enthusiasm, independent working style
• Other : Practical experience in journalism or press relations is desirable, as is experience with content management systems, Photoshop or video editing software.

Willingness to work from home is a prerequisite.

The internship starts full-time ( hours) on Tuesday, September , 4. The internship lasts six months (ends March , 5). Applicants for a mandatory internship as well as a voluntary internship or a combination of mandatory and voluntary internships can be considered.
