Managing Director (Onshore)
Our Client are seeking a dynamic and experienced managing director for their Wind & PV (Onshore) Division in Germany.
Your Key Responsibilities :
- Create, oversee, and guide a productive onshore team while promoting a culture of cooperation, responsibility, and ongoing development.
- Ascertain that team members possess the necessary tools to accomplish organisational goals and are in line with the company's strategic objectives.
- Create and implement thorough strategic plans to propel the onshore wind and PV industries' growth, profitability, and market presence.
- Oversee the company's process for locating and seizing fresh business prospects in order to increase the portfolio of projects through strategic alliances and development projects.
- oversee the onshore division's financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Make ensuring every project is completed on time, within budget, and achieves or surpasses profitability goals.
- In charge of overseeing a significant investment budget and making sure that resources are allocated as efficiently as possible to maximise results.
- Supervise the effective planning, building, and running of onshore wind and photovoltaic projects. Assure that projects adhere to the strictest safety and quality requirements and are completed on schedule and under budget.
- Provide regular updates on business performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Keep up solid connections with important parties, such as partners, investors, authorities, and neighbourhood groups.
- Strategic decision-making is aided by the observation and analysis of market trends, competition activity, and regulatory developments.
- Determine any hazards and create strategies for mitigating them to guarantee the onshore business's continuous expansion and prosperity.
Your Qualifications and Requirements :
- Demonstrated experience in establishing onshore projects (wind and photovoltaic) in a senior management capacity within the renewable energy industry.
- Proven track record in the conception, design, building, and management of projects.
- Proven capacity to motivate a varied workforce to achieve organisational goals and lead and manage them.
- Outstanding financial sense, with background in overseeing sizable budgets and P&L duties.
