PLC Programmer

Position Overview :
They are seeking a motivated PLC Programmer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from automating new plants to modernising existing systems, and to collaborate closely with experienced PLC programmers as they prepare for retirement.

Salary €90k
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute PLC programming for various projects in plant engineering, including automation of new plants and modernisation efforts.
- Design and implement machine and system visualisations to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
- Lead commissioning activities for systems, ensuring smooth integration and functionality (up to 25% travel required).
- Contribute to the ongoing development of automation standards, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies.
- Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer from experienced team members to facilitate smooth succession planning
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Solid understanding of PLC programming principles and experience with programming languages such as ladder logic.
- Proficiency in visualisation design tools and software (e.g., HMI / SCADA systems).
- Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting industrial automation systems.
