Join Ericsson’s IPR & Licensing team to support the Intellectual Property Rights Policy Research Group and engage in a dynamic role that bridges technology, IPR and policy.

This paid internship offers a comprehensive platform to explore the intersections of innovation, technology, and intellectual property rights, particularly in the area of cellular standards (2G to 5G).

You’ll get the opportunity to

  • Educational Outreach : Educate diverse audiences on the significance of intellectual property rights (IPR) and Ericsson in fostering innovation across cellular technologies.
  • Simplification of complex Information : Translate complex data / material into clear, accessible content, and make it attractive.
  • Content Creation : Work with other IPR, Economist and Engineer interns to create social media content.
  • Review papers and articles for others, and provide feedback from a marketing perspective.
  • Skill Development : Participate in a series of workshops designed to enhance both soft and hard skills, including :
  • Effective presentation and debate techniques,
  • Writing for academic and business audiences,
  • Conflict management,
  • Business English communication ,
  • Understanding cellular standards,
  • AI and open source environments.

Key skills

  • Educational Background : Applicants should possess a degree in marketing, or related business degree. A strong interest in intellectual property rights and new technologies is highly desirable.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Candidates must have outstanding interpersonal abilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

The capacity to thrive within a diverse, multicultural team is essential.
