Join Ericsson’s IPR & Licensing team to support the Intellectual Property Rights Policy Research Group and engage in a dynamic role that bridges technology, IPR and policy.
This paid internship offers a comprehensive platform to explore the intersections of innovation, technology, and intellectual property rights, particularly in the area of cellular standards (2G to 5G).

You’ll get the opportunity to
- Educational Outreach : Educate diverse audiences on the significance of intellectual property rights (IPR) and Ericsson in fostering innovation across cellular technologies.
- Simplification of complex Information : Translate complex data / material into clear, accessible content, and make it attractive.
- Content Creation : Work with other IPR, Economist and Engineer interns to create social media content.
- Review papers and articles for others, and provide feedback from a marketing perspective.
- Skill Development : Participate in a series of workshops designed to enhance both soft and hard skills, including :
- Effective presentation and debate techniques,
- Writing for academic and business audiences,
- Conflict management,
- Business English communication ,
- Understanding cellular standards,
- AI and open source environments.
Key skills
- Educational Background : Applicants should possess a degree in marketing, or related business degree. A strong interest in intellectual property rights and new technologies is highly desirable.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Candidates must have outstanding interpersonal abilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
The capacity to thrive within a diverse, multicultural team is essential.
