What you'll do

In your role as a working student in the Data Protection team, you will have the opportunity to help SAP stay compliant with the data protection and privacy regulations.

You will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in software development by being part of an agile team comprising engineering experts.

You will be a vital part of the team by :

• Supporting the complete development cycle, while applying latest technologies such as the Cloud Application Programming model, SAP Build Process Automation etc.
• Supporting the creation of dashboards and data modeling in SAP Analytics Cloud
• Work in an Agile environment

What you bring

You are a student (f / m / d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious.

You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Preferred fields of study : computer science or similar engineering field
• Computer skills : software development experience (preferably JavaScript / node.js, REST APIs); design, development and operations of Cloud applications, agile development processes are regarded as a plus
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Soft skills : team player, curiosity about product development and quick learner, self-driven and creative

Meet your team

The EDT Data Protection team contributes towards how SAP respects data protection and privacy rights and safeguards the personal data of individuals under SAP’s control.

It is a globally distributed team of experienced project management and technical experts who share a passion for data protection and privacy topics.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).

Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
