Description
- Play a key role in designing and executing the Operational Risk Management Framework to ensure robust risk management processes.
- Perform detailed analyses of operational risk incidents and their root causes. Organize and lead meetings with business units, draft incident reports, evaluate proposed action plans, and monitor their implementation to completion.
Maintain and update the Operational Risk event database.
- Collaborate with risk owners to assess risks and controls, provide constructive challenges to their assessments, and regularly update on the status of risks.
- Review and assess key risk indicators to determine risk levels in relevant areas, ensuring early detection and mitigation of potential issues.
- Assist in creating comprehensive risk reports for management and specialized committees, providing insights and updates on the risk landscape.
- Support the development of the ICAAP report by incorporating results from scenario analyses and ensuring accurate representation of the institution's risk profile.
- Address and manage inquiries from various stakeholders, including the group, audit teams, management, and other relevant parties.
- Actively engage in and contribute to specific projects as required, ensuring alignment with operational risk management objectives.
Profile
- Degree in Finance, Economics, IT, or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience in Operational Risk and / or Custody Operations. Knowledge of IT and Information Security is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and reporting skills, with a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Well-versed in the Funds and Banking industry, including pertinent regulations and risk monitoring practices.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with high stress tolerance, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
