What we offer you :

As a Senior Full-stack Data Analytics / Data Science Expert, you will develop data-centric solutions and enable digital decision support for our top management to actively shape the future of one of the most successful mobility companies in the world.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of an end-to-end solution from data engineering and data analytics to user-friendly customer frontends, thus providing an important building block for the MBMC's portfolio and solution development expertise.

As part of an interdisciplinary team of highly motivated colleagues, you will work together with other data experts and consultants to understand and implement our clients' requirements.

Across all departments, you will enable data- and technology-driven solutions to answer the strategic challenges of Mercedes-Benz.

You will face these challenges :

• Advising on strategic and operational issues relating to digitalization and data-driven optimization
• Identification and evaluation of possible applications for data-based decision support
• Responsibility for the successful development and implementation of innovative analytics and business intelligence solutions for interdisciplinary, comprehensive business processes with a large number of interfaces and stakeholders
• Independent responsibility for data analysis from conception to modelling, from data engineering to visualization
• Responsibility for the identification and definition of data sources as well as the design of strategic, cross-functional data models for use in multiple analytics projects and integration into a cross-project data layer
• Requirements engineering and (rapid) prototyping for the creation of BI / data analytics tools (Power BI / Python stack in Azure environment)
• Development of individual (sub-)projects and responsibility for on-time, on-budget and on-quality delivery of project results as well as tracking and managing the respective project risks
• Ensuring internal knowledge transfer between projects and stakeholders
• Deriving new conceptual approaches and methods for future projects
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams and sub-project management

Qualifikationen

Ideally, you should have the following :

• Successfully completed (Master's) degree in economics, computer science, engineering, natural sciences or comparable subjects with mathematical, statistical or econometric components
• Several years of experience in a dynamic, analytical working environment (e.g. in management consulting, the automotive industry, software or start-up sector)
• Several years of experience in the practical application of data engineering including data evaluation and analysis
• Experience in at least two other relevant topics such asNLP / GenAIMachine learningFrontend development (e.g. Node.js, REACT, Angular)Operations researchDeep learningSoftware EngineeringSparkApplication of statistics
• Sound programming skills in relevant languages (Python, Java, Java script)
• Experience with working on cloud platforms and the microservices working on them (e.g. Databricks, ADF, etc.), preferably MS Azure
• Business fluent in German and English
