Territory Account Manager Hamburg

Our client is deeply committed to enhancing healthcare by advancing fast, precise diagnostic testing.

The Territory Manager (m / f / d) role is pivotal, responsible for a dedicated sales territory encompassing Hamburg and encompassing area, requiring residence in the region.

This position is integral to our German sales team and operates remotely, with frequent travel throughout the assigned territory.

In this role, you will :

  • Cultivate and expand business within the assigned geography, serving both existing customer accounts and prospective clients, including hospitals, private laboratories, and POC settings.
  • Drive complex, multi-departmental sales processes, from introducing new diagnostic concepts to finalizing agreements and overseeing implementation.
  • Negotiate and oversee contracts with Key Accounts in Private Labs.
  • Spearhead the introduction and development of new testing in POC settings.
  • Foster demand for, and adoption of, new assays and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Field Application Specialists and Marketing to devise and execute customer- and region-specific sales strategies.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals, as well as support product showcases.
  • Maintain accurate customer data using our CRM system (Salesforce.com).
  • Achieve sales targets for both instruments and reagents.

The essential requirements for this role include :

  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably within clinical and private lab environments.
  • PRIOR EXPERIENCE SELLING INTO HOSPITALS, CLINICS, AND / OR LABS IS MANDATORY.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success, particularly with high-value products.
  • Expertise in demand creation and multi-departmental hospital sales is advantageous.

Knowledge and skills required :

  • Proficiency in solution selling and a consultative sales approach.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong focus on customer relations and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com.
  • Fluency in both German and English at BUSINESS LEVEL is essential.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50-75%).
