Senior UX Researcher (m / f / d)
Your tasks
- You will enable our product teams to make informed decisions by systematically and validly uncovering customer needs, integrating the insights gained into the development process, and ensuring emerging solutions are aligned with customer benefits
- You will be an ambassador for UX in the organization. In close collaboration with Business Units, you will identify needs for complex and cross-functional UX issues, steer research activities to address them, and enable data-driven strategic decisions and forecasts
- You will contribute to building structures and processes for efficient and scalable UX Research within the organization.
This includes establishing and maintaining a Research Repository, connecting existing data sources in the company, moderating the UX Research Community, and developing a pool of participants and associated processes
- Playing a crucial role in democratizing UX Research within the organization, you will develop guides and templates, and provide training in UX fundamentals, mindset, and methods to empower project teams to execute operational user research
- Handle third party research
Your profile
You have a degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, User Experience, Service Design, or similar fields with a focus on data collection and analysis.
Additional qualifications in User Experience Research or Research Operations are a plus
- You have several years of professional experience in independently deploying qualitative and quantitative methods in UX Research, which encompass not only classical UX Research but also addressing complex questions through statistical analysis or data triangulation
- Throughout your career, you have ideally encountered a broad range of user contexts (e.g., B2B, B2C, Hardware, Software) and worked in agile development teams
- You understand the key metrics your colleagues need for decision-making and know how to present and communicate insights in a way that seamlessly integrates them into the product development process (e.
g., Customer Journeys, Personas, JTBD)
- You are a curious and empathetic individual, passionate about UX Research, capable of inspiring others with your enthusiasm, and adept at easily conveying complex methods
- You can independently conduct User Research in both English and German
