For the expansion of our consulting services, the team is looking for support from a Mechanical / Renewables Engineer (m / f / d).
In this position, you will support Merkur's technical and asset management team with a focus on tasks required to keep the turbines in the best possible technical condition.
In his role, the engineer will focus on the asset management of the foundations, transition pieces, array cables and towers of the wind turbine generators.
Preferably, the candidate will also be able to strengthen Merkur's consultancy services.
Tasks
- Support in Management of service contracts with external service providers
- Management of periodical asset inspections of third party surveyors
- Ensuring documentation of planned and corrective maintenance activities
- Coordination of activities between offshore providers and remote operations control center
- Support in Management of large corrective repair works
- Occasional travel to the windfarm
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- A broad interest in all aspects of renewables which can be of a technical, contractual or commercial nature
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- A team player with a hands-on mentality
- Good communication skills in German and English
