Freelance Python Developer - with AWS, SAS, and Data Expertise (AI & Automation Focus)
For one of my leading insurance clients I am urgently seeking an experienced freelance Python Developer with expertise in AWS (particularly AWS Lambda and infrastructure), SAS Enterprise, SAS Solutions and PowerBI.
Very flexible remote working comes as standard with this position, however travel to Luxembourg office a couple of times per week will be required .
There maybe some flexibility on how often you will need to go!)
This role involves automating data pipelines and enhancing data processes with AI capabilities. The client’s objective is to create a streamlined data pipeline using AI, so knowledge in AI is beneficial.
The role is data-heavy (80%) with a focus on ETL tools (primarily SAS) and some AI (20%).
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and ETL processes, primarily on SAS and AWS infrastructure.
- Use AWS Lambda and related AWS services to support automation and scalability of data pipelines.
- Work with SAS Enterprise and PowerBI for data handling, visualization, and reporting.
- Clean and process data for optimal usage in AI and analytics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support their existing Data and AI Studio, while integrating with AWS infrastructure.
- Incorporate AI capabilities into data pipelines to support automation goals.
Qualifications :
- Strong experience in Python and data processing.
- Experience within the Insurance sector is a strong plus!
- Proficiency with AWS Lambda and other AWS services, including dedicated data services.
- Hands-on experience with SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Solutions, and PowerBI.
- Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
- AI knowledge for implementing automation and advanced analytics.
- Fluency in English is essential; French-speaking ability is a plus.
This position is ideal for a data-focused developer with a solid foundation in AWS and SAS, ready to leverage AI to enhance data pipeline automation.
