Your future tasks

• Innovative applications : You will be responsible for the new and further development of innovative applications involving microservices with Java and Spring (Boot).
• Modern development methods : Using state-of-the-art development methods, such as clean code principles or test-driven development, you will ensure high code quality.
• CI / CD : You optimize the software development process via Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) and thereby increase the quality of the overall solution.
• Database systems : In addition to relational databases, you also use NoSQL and event-based systems such as Kafka.
• Consulting : You advise customers on how backend systems can be optimally aligned - whether on-premise or in the cloud.

What you bring with you

• A university degree in (business) informatics or comparable training, e.g. as an IT specialist for application development (m / f / d), is an advantage.
• You have (several years of) practical experience in the new or further development of middleware and backend systems in agile teams.
• You have (in-depth) knowledge of modern software crafting methods such as clean code, test-driven development, design patterns and architecture principles.
• You have (many years of) practical experience with current Java technologies and frameworks such as Spring (Boot), Jakarta EE (formerly JEE) or comparable frameworks.
• Experience in the design and development of RESTful and / or GraphQL APIs is desirable. As well as advanced knowledge of GIT, Docker, Jira and CI tools (Jenkins, Gitlab-CI).
• An agile mindset, passion for modern software development, high quality awareness and team player qualities characterize you.
• You are business fluent in German and have a good command of English.
