Your responsibilities
Moving containers around the world has never been as challenging as today. While working as a Manager in Container Applications you will guide and support the global equipment organization to further develop its processes and systems.
Your responsibility is to promote automation of business execution, prepare the organization for the future, and help to build up a strategic mindset within the organization.
You will represent the global equipment community and work together with other POs of the equipment cluster, connecting business requirements with technical specification in order to bring projects and concepts to life.
This will include the following tasks and responsibilities :
- Measurement and performance improvement of relevant EQ Operations processes and systems
- Own / lead and coordinate projects driving Hapag-Lloyd Strategy into action
- Support process execution and process improvements in Region, QSCs, and Areas
- Leadership of / participation in projects within the organization
- Support IT Product Development for Equipment Qualify projects, prepare economic calculations and benefit analysisInteract with different expert groups across different business domainsModerate and conduct workshops and video conferencesSupport user acceptance tests and rolloutsSupport and conduct user trainings
- Preparation of management presentations to support decision making
- Ensure proper project governance and stakeholder management
- Support implementation of Digital Products such as QBEs QQ Spot and others in Equipment
Your profile
- Very strong analytic and conceptual mindset, motivation and assertiveness
- Innovative and holistic thinking, focusing on what benefits the overall organization
- Strong affinity to IT developments within the scope of project work
- Good communication skills and team spirit including firm interpersonal and intercultural skills
- High degree of self-reliance and the capability to work structurally and in a self-organized manner
- Willingness and flexibility to travel abroad several times a year in order to conduct reviews, analyses and trainings
- University degree or equivalent experience, ideally with focus on logistics, business administration or information systems
- Excellent skills in FIS, QlikView, COMPASS and MS Office
- Preferably experience in project management and basic knowledge in process modeling
- Good command of English, both orally and in writing
