We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to take ownership of developing cutting-edge image recognition algorithms that enhance our claims process.
Help us drive innovation and efficiency while playing a key role in shaping the way we harness technology in the insurance sector.
In the role of Senior Data Scientist (m / f / d) with the Claims Analytics team, you will work alongside other data scientists and claims experts to create data analytics and AI solutions for assessing damage from visual data and integrate these solutions into our operational processes with claims experts and IT.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and refine AI solutions for image recognition to optimize claims processing
- Apply modern machine learning and deep learning techniques in a professional DevOps setting using Python
- Analyze, visualize, and communicate results effectively to claims experts, IT staff, and management
- Collaborate within a dynamic, motivated, interdisciplinary team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and claims experts
- Cooperate across different departments within the company
Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced degree in a STEM field relevant to data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Several years of experience with deep learning techniques, especially in image recognition
- Proven track record in developing, deploying, and managing analytics services
- Strong analytical skills, assertiveness, strategic thinking, and a focus on customer satisfaction and goals
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation, coupled with high responsibility and dedication
- Willingness to work at our headquarters regularly (about 3 days per week)
