This role belongs to our German subsidiary Wipro Technologies GmbH with a headquarter in Frankfurt.
Nature of the project
Scope of the project is to provide Professional Services for our client. The work includes developing and implementing and managing customized software solutions for our client’s end customers.
The product stack is VMware’s cloud portfolio including but not limited to VCF, NSx, vRA, vRO, ARIA etc.

Key Requirements :
Primary Skills (Technical Skill) :
- Hypervisor : VMware vSphere 6.7 and later
- VM and ESX host management : vCenter 6.7 and later
- VM and ESX Reporting : RVTools, VMware Aria Operations
- ESX Automation : VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator (vRO / vRA), PowerShell Scripts plus Bitbucket and Git Secure remote access : iLO, iDrac Log Management & Analysis : VMware Aria Operations for Log
Technical Qualifications :
- VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Secondary Skills (optional) :
Platform Skills (Windows Server Administration)
Role & Responsibilities :
- Install / de-install, configure and maintain the hypervisor host.
- Consideration of the manufacturer's Hardware Compatibility List (HCL).
- Provide remote access and management of permissions.
- Creating or developing standardized workflows.
- Implementation of Self Services (laaS deployment).
- Manage the storage of the virtual environment in close collaboration with the Storage Team.
- Perform backup procedures.
- Make changes to the infrastructure component.
- Perform and support audits and patching.
- Creation and maintenance of the configuration-items in the CMDB.
- Create and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Implementation of Continuous Improvement plan.
- Implementation of measures to update the infrastructure components and the Lifecycle Management Tools
- Documentation (architecture, processes, procedures, tickets).
