The Team
The Infosys Consulting Life Sciences vertical focuses on advising pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices companies on continuously rethinking transformation along the value chain to meet contemporary business needs.
We drive innovation both through process reengineering and the implementation of best-in-class solutions to a number of high-profile Pharmaceutical clients.
Our life sciences team encompasses some of the industry s brightest experts who possess a broad set of rich experiences in helping top organizations transform their operations and deliver shareholder value.
They are engaged in a number of strategic and operational programs across the top life sciences organizations.
The Life Science practice is successfully embedded within the entire Infosys Group, which enables IC to sell and deliver large scale transformation programs with a specific focus on SAP and S / 4 HANA in a pull-through collaboration with delivery capacities on-shore and offshore.
We drive innovation by rethinking processes in R&D / Clinical Development, Regulatory / Safety, Commercial, Global Supply Chain and Value & Access leveraging digital technologies in Data & Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, IOT enabled monitoring, virtual trials and RPA.
Requirements
The Role
Lead S / 4HANA based transformation activities in the area of Order-to-Cash in line with proven best practices for the Life Sciences industry (sales and customer interaction).
Responsibility
- Active participation in business development and pre-sales activities, including proposals and responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Deliver best-in-class SAP solutions during Explore (Define, Design) and Realize phases of a large scape S / 4HANA business transformation, by providing leadership and direction to teams working in sales & distribution (focus on sales order management, pricing, rebates, contract management, returns, promotion management) and related areas (key account management, customer service management, sales planning, distribution management, transportation management and trade services).
- Preparation and execution of client workshops and presentations during Define and Design to support key design decisions and end-to-end business process design through contribution of Life Sciences proven best practices.
Link design decisions to value realization impacts.
- Strategic advisor for sales and distribution, invoice processing, material management etc.
- Structure and drive key implementation activities in Order to Cash solution configuration, testing (OQ, PQ), training preparation and delivery, data migration preparation and execution;
and cutover activities.
- Act as a sparring partner for the client and project management.
- Provide ongoing management to Order-to-Cash teams including activity planning and monitoring of deliverable preparation, leading a functional workstream or team composed of a mix of onsite, nearshore, and offshore resources
- Ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards
- Manage internal consulting resources, 3rd party provider resources, and contract resources.

- German language capability
- Superior client interaction skills : ability to build trusted relationships with clients to design and implement functional domain solutions for transformation programs.
Ability to navigate in a complex organization structures and to deal with ambiguity.
- Significant work experience as an external consultant, managing Order-to-Cash transformation projects utilizing S / 4HANA in Life Sciences, with an excellent knowledge of the business processes beyond the borders of SAP.
- Extensive implementation as well as support experience in sales & distribution (focus on sales order management, pricing, rebates, contract management, returns, promotion management) and related areas (key account management, customer service management, sales planning, distribution management, transportation management and trade services).
- Experienced with how to use advanced technologies (e.g. AI, automation, etc.) in the area of Customer-to-Cash to support or redesign business processes.
- Practical experience in application of project management life cycle principles and methodologies (SAP Activate, including key concepts like Model Company, SAP Value Lifecycle Management etc.).
- Demonstrated skills in defining and executing an Agile-based design and delivery approach.
- Proven ability to write White Papers and to develop market-relevant points of view to generate and sustain our presence in the marketplace.
- Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints.
- Ability to collaborate within the Firm and to leverage existing resources.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitations skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively in Europe and an excellent command of the English language.
