People Business Partner (m/f/x)

Your main responsibilities will include :

• Be the first point of contact for the employees and managers in their own responsibility area.
• Create, maintain, and improve an engaging and legally compliable relationship between employees and the employer, throughout the whole employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
• Be a partner for managers regarding all People topics, e.g. head count planning, team development, conflict resolution, performance evaluation etc.
• Coordinate, conduct, and improve employee onboarding processes.
• Take actions to improve employee Performance Management and manage low performers.
• Lead employee engagement activities.
• Map competence development needs and plan activities.
• Support talent management and successor development.
• Ensure HR data quality and high-quality Payroll.
• Update document templates regulating employment relations, including contracts and internal rules.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and consult managers and employees.
• Proactively act to ensure continuous development and implementation of HR processes, policies, and systems.
• Support the Talent Acquisition team in recruitment and Employer Branding activities.
• Lead by example.

Requirements

• 3+ years in an HR Business Partner role
• Good understanding of German labor regulations and legislation.
• Solid understanding of the full employee lifecycle and how to manage it.
• Experience with Learning & Development initiatives
• Experience with competence mapping is a plus.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Fluency in German and English
• Ability to cope with changes.
• Problem-solving with the "can-do" attitude.
• Proactive approach for improvements.
• Ability to engage with different personalities and on the different levels of the organization.
• Punctuality and accuracy.
