What You'll Do?
- Responsibility for the (further) development of the data platform (Snowflake, Confluent (Kafka), Databricks), architecture of our data platform and the DWH, as well as responsibility for data flows between components
- Focus on automation at all times, and build tools and infrastructure for your wider data and software colleagues
- Development of our Data Mesh architecture
- Continuous work on the automation and optimisation of technical processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability in ELT / ETL pipelines and data platform administration
- Responsibility of building data protection-compliant end-to-end processes, from connecting data sources, to developing process monitoring
- Implementation of best practices in data engineering across the organisation
- Optimisation of process stability and data quality
What We're Looking For?
- Highly proficient Python backend programming skills (Flask, Django etc.)
- DevOps skills in CI / CD, Terraform and / or Gitlab
- Competency working in cloud-based environments with skills in developing a scalable cloud infrastructure
- Strong Snowflake and Kafka skills
- At least a senior level as data engineer already
