POSITION DESCRIPTION

Functional responsibilities :
- Promote and sell a portfolio of products and / or services and solution to existing and potential customers.
- Provide professional leadership in planning, organising, and controlling sales growth, continued account penetration, and customer satisfaction.
- Utilise strong product / market knowledge and sales experience to manage complex sales and resolve customer questions and concerns.
- Solve customer questions and problems and manage sales.
- Retain, extend, and acquire customers through effective identification of opportunities and the creation and implementation of solutions.
- Create, monitor, and revise plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
- Meet or over achieve Company targets.
- Maintain positive relationships with existing customer base.
- Develop new relationships with prospective customers.
- Provide operational assistance when necessary to maintain business continuity.
- Cooperate with Technical Support and Marketing teams to monitor and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, making recommendations to management.
- Keep management informed by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, etc.
- Build image and brand in eyes of customer.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending designated training as and when required.
- Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures.
Key responsibilities :
It is the Sales Account Manager’s main mission to maximize the revenue from sales of the organization’s products and / or services through a base of customers in his assigned territory.
Therefore, he is the representative of the Tosoh brand to the customer and act as trusted partner to existing and new customers.
The ideally candidate manages and drives the development of accounts according to his strategic and budget plan. Moreover, he contributes in enforcing Tosoh’s image and brand in the eyes of customer.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Personal :
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Drive for success and accomplishment
- Customer-orientation, flexibility and personal accountability
- Excellent local language
- Fluent English (spoken) is mandatory
- MS Office, SAP (or equivalent)
Education / professional experience :
- Master or Bachelor of Science or equivalent, alternatively apprenticeship as MTA (with professional experience)
- Ideally 3 years (or above) of sales experience with proven track record in IVD market
