What you can expect :

• As Global Sales Director, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding annual sales targets Globally, but with initial focus on Europe and Asia.
• To achieve these goals, you will develop the sales strategy, tactics and plans.
• You will be responsible for the identification of growth opportunities.
• You will set sales targets by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories. You will also forecast expected sales volumes and profits for existing and new products.
• As a senior manager, you will be responsible for sales managers based in China, South Korea, Malaysia and Europe.
• You will be expected to develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic accounts.
• Partnering with customers (OEM's, EU's and System Integrators) to understand their business needs and objectives. Working with the BU team to give market and customer feedback on SmartRay's product offering.
• Report on factors affecting local markets. Monitor changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.

What to bring :

• Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets in automation / vision (product) business
• Proven experience as a Senior Sales Manager or Sales Director in Asia in automation / vision (product) business
• Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization, including the Executive Board and the C-Level
• Excellent written and spoken German and English (other Asian languages preferred)
• Flexibility to travel to Asia and within Europe on a regular basis
