Chief Legal Officer
Position : Chief Legal Officer
Salary Range : Competitive
Location : Germany (hybrid or remote possible)
My clients are FinTechs and Banks that are looking for a Chief Legal Officer.
Main Tasks :
- Lead the legal department and oversee all legal aspects of the company.
- Advise the executive team and board on all legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, and compliance issues.
- Develop and lead corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's matters.
- Manage the legal aspects of all business transactions, including negotiations, contracts, and partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international laws affecting the company.
Profile :
- Proven experience as a Chief Legal Officer or similar leadership role in a legal department.
- Comprehensive understanding of the legal challenges in the technology sector, including intellectual property, data protection, AML, KYC, CDD and international business operations.
- Strong ability to strategize and solve complex legal issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence high-level stakeholders.
- Law degree from an accredited institution; additional qualifications in business administration or a related field are a plus.
