Your tasks
- You create the technical documentation for the systems and series products (e.g. operating, assembly and installation instructions), taking into account target group-specific preparation and maintenance
- You check the technical documentation in accordance with the applicable legal regulations, relevant standards, product-specific regulations and contractually agreed customer requirements
- You standardize the technical documentation in terms of structure, presentation and modularization and independently research data and information content
- You manage the process with external translation agencies
- You support the development of a terminology management system
- You create and prepare images, 3D drawings and graphics (e.g. with SolidWork Composer)
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in technical documentation / editing or a technical or scientific degree with additional qualification / further training as a technical editor
- Or you have successfully completed training as a technical editor or technical product designer with experience in technical editing
- You have relevant professional experience in technical documentation and knowledge of the relevant standards and guidelines
- You are experienced in dealing with the basic rules of technical writing (terminology consistency, fixed sentence patterns, formulation of warnings and translation-oriented writing)
- You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English
