A hugely exciting opportunity for a Field Applications Engineer at an innovative semiconductor scale-up company. It’s a pivotal role in their mission to shape their future! This position will be based in Nuremberg, Germany and it is essential to speak fluent German and English.

Job Description

Work closely with sales to provide pre and post-sales technical support for European customers.
Travel to the customer site to provide support as needed.
Collaborate with device and module design engineers to troubleshoot customer applications
Develop strong relationships with sales and engineering teams to help drive next-generation products.
Technically qualify opportunities and propose the best solution
Assist new and existing customers from evaluation through production
Gather information on the competitive landscape and report to management
Communicate technical market trends and recommend strategies for success

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in power semiconductors and their applications
Strong communication skills fluent in German and English
Ability to review schematics and provide support using their product
Knowledge of SiC MOSFETs, Diodes, and Power Modules

Job Offer
