Lead DevOps Architect

New permanent opportunity for a Lead DevOps Architect to join global e-health company in Germany

Please note : This position is fully remote and requires candidates that are based in Germany.

This position will begin initially in a hands-on DevOps Architect capacity but the expectation will be that you move into a leadership / management position over time and you must therefore be happy to begin hands-on but have experience managing teams also.

Lead DevOps Architect Responsibilities

• Architecture and engineering of legacy software
• Technical leadership and inspiring the DevOps team to nurture a continuous improvement mindset
• Promotion, documentation and implementation of DevOps tools and best practices, building tools that allow the organization to develop and deploy high quality software
• Effective management of a DevOps team of up to 20+ engineers

Lead DevOps Architect Required Experience

• 5+ years' hands-on experience in DevOps Architecture / Engineering
• Experience working in large, enterprise organisations (ideally within the Life Sciences industry)
• Experience leading / managing teams of DevOps Engineers
• IaC (Ansible)
• CI / CD (Jenkins, Artifcatory)
• Legacy software (Java)
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• Experience in a product development environment, developing products from scratch and enhancing the developer efficiency and experience whilst developing the product

Lead DevOps Architect Application Process

This is a permanent requirement with a start date ASAP; CV's are currently being considered and interviews are taking place across July.

The interview process will be 3 stages and candidates will need to be available in no more than 3 months in order to be considered.
