Product Stewardship Manager Central Europe (DACH location)

About the Role :

If so, Master Builders Solutions has an exciting opportunity for you as a Product Stewardship Manager for Central Europe.
This pivotal role will place you at the forefront of our regulatory and product stewardship efforts, ensuring compliance and supporting our business units across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities :
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance for all chemical products within the DACH region by processing national regulations for chemical substances and products.
- Coordination and Communication : Support Central Europe business units with the communication of product stewardship and regulatory topics, including training, coordination, and implementation of global guidelines and standards.
- Local and Regional Liaison : Act as the key contact person for coordinating and supporting product-specific requests related to national and European chemical regulations.
This includes handling regulations like "Chemikalienverbotsverordnungen," microplastic and nanomaterials requirements, REACH & ECHA regulations, and more.
- Swiss Regulations Expertise : Specifically manage product stewardship for Switzerland, coordinating requests related to Swiss chemical regulations, product notifications, VOC regulation checks, substance registration, and SVT.
- Marketing Support : Coordinate product-specific requests related to national product marketing requirements, including "Bauprodukteverordnung" and "Drinking water directive," and manage commodity code generation.
- Sustainability Coordination : Work with the global Sustainability department to create product ecology certificates.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Maintain close connectivity with central functions, local operations, product management, and marketing teams.
- Regulatory Updates : Stay informed about chemical regulations affecting the Central Europe region through participation in regulatory trade associations.
Qualifications :
- Education : Master’s degree in chemistry or a related field.
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years in the chemical industry, preferably in a related role.
- Skills :
- Profound knowledge of national and international chemical legislation, focusing on Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Experience managing interdisciplinary teams in a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CH RPC tool is desirable.
- Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to challenges.
