Senior Account Manager (m/f/d) (home based/Germany)
Prospects and penetrates existing and new accounts within a specified region or territory to identify and pursue product opportunities in a variety of processes and applications.
Manages all aspects of sales and support activities at those accounts in collaboration with the respective FAE and Customer Support staff.
Grows sales revenues and customer satisfaction. Travels to support customers as required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Penetrates all hierarchy levels of assigned accounts on a face-to-face basis to ensure an intimate, timely, and firsthand knowledge of all aspects of customer business.
- Develops account profiles, including competitive positions and sales volume, sales opportunities, company direction, decision makers, etc.
- Owns and updates account strategies and tactics.
- Identifies, qualifies, and pursues sales opportunities at existing and new accounts within assigned market segment within EMEA.
- Forecasts sales in accordance with AE processes and procedures.
- Coordinates all relevant activities to increase sales and establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction at all accounts.
- Drives all Advanced Energy support resources to develop business with assigned accounts. Works closely with AE Business Units and Engineering to ensure rapid response to opportunities and effective solution to customer issues at account.
- Provides first level of technical support at accounts in collaboration with FAEs. Arranges for advanced levels of support from AE customer service, applications, engineering, marketing, etc.
- Travels as needed per responsibilities above.
- Performs other duties as requested.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Workplace in either a local AE office in Germany or home office. Domestic & International travel is required; approximately 30-40% should be expected at a minimum.

- Proven sales atitude and sales skills, both tactically and strategically.
- Ability to comprehend and relate technical product and process specification.
- Work experience at a global player in the electronics industry.

- Ability to condense and report complex information.
- Ability to exercise strong follow-up on commitments withn own organization.

Several years of applicable Sales experience.
Proven experience selling and / or supporting a variety of high-tech accounts.
Excellent communication skills written, oral, and group and one-on-one presentations.
Negotiation capability in English, good command of German is a plus.
Desirable :
Worked with major customers in the Electronics Industry for Industrial and Medical applications.
Worked with Power Supply solutions.

Degree in Electric Engineering or equivalent education and / or experience.
Desirable :
Advanced business degree or Course study in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration.
