Why This Job Exists
We are building a delivery team in Germany for clients who run their operations there, and the first person we want on it is a Junior Project Coordinator. You will look after the plans, meetings and records of our system change projects, from the agreed brief to handover. The job is full-time and remote from anywhere in Germany. The rest of ResolveOps sits in Chicago, seven hours behind, so the odd call with them lands late in your afternoon.
A Typical Week
- Keep project plans current: tasks, owners, dates, dependencies.
- Set up working sessions with client teams and send round the agreed actions.
- Track open questions, risks and decisions in the project log.
- Ask clients for access, documents and test data, and follow up on what is missing.
- Assemble handover packs with runbooks, test results and open items.
The Basics
- A degree or commercial training in business, information systems or a related field.
- First experience in project work or office coordination, for example from an internship.
- Microsoft 365, including Excel lists with filters and Teams.
Also useful: Jira, Confluence or another project tool; or a project management course such as PRINCE2 Foundation or IPMA Level D.
