We are looking for a Key Account Manager in Germany (m / f / d) to join our team and develop our clients in the Industrial Automation Market!

As a Key Account Manager you are responsible for acquiring and growing our most important client accounts in the Industrial Automation market / ecosystem in the DACH region.

You will build and maintain a strong trusted relationship with assigned clients and be the main point of contact for all client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed.

In addition, you will bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and develop new relationships with potential clients.

For this position we are looking for a well-seasoned key account manager for our customers in the DACH region. Experience in the field of Industrial Automation networking and computing is essential.

Cultural awareness of the assigned territory and ability to fluently communicate in German and English.

Major Areas of Responsibility :

  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
  • Resolving key client issues and complaints
  • Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
  • Anticipating key account changes and improvements
  • Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
  • Strategic planning to improve client results
  • Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
  • Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
  • Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or relevant technical field (engineering); Master’s degree preferred

Experience : Four to five years’ previous work experience in sales of networking and computing solutions towards the Industrial Automation ecosystem

Language skills : Fluent in German and English. Other European languages is a plus.

  • Able to multitask and and manage more than one client account, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented and a organized team player
  • Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
