Project Management - Offshore
Plant Engineering is a part of NCE (Northern & Central Europe) and supports the organization in installing and servicing a great number of SCADA systems, controlling medium and large sized wind power plants.
Our job is to turn groups of wind turbines into a functional power plant unit, according to contractual and regional requirements.
Our customers can mainly be found among larger power supply companies and professional investors.
Responsibilities
As a SCADA Project Manager you can expect to undertake the following responsibilities :
- Provide effective coordination and communication between the project engineering team and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure effective project delivery
- Continuously identify and assess all opportunities and identifiable risks to ensure on-time project completion
- Be accountable for project deliverables based on strategic priorities and set goals (e.g. quality, schedule, EHS) while managing the project throughout its lifecycle
- Guarantee positive business outcomes, high levels of customer contentment and adept management of projects and stakeholders to enhance value for Vestas
- Participate directly in the refinement of internal processes within the SCADA Project Management & Plant Engineering unit
- Gathering of Market Requirements for Product Management and Development
Qualifications
We believe that you hold the following professional qualifications :
- Have completed university of applied sciences, engineering, or business administration at bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of experience from similar Industry, product, or application
- Expert knowledge or experience in using project management methods and tools
- Expert knowledge or experience of stakeholder management tools and techniques
- PM training / PM certification - (e.g. Prince2 Practitioner / PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, ITIL 4 foundation)
- Professional English skills, both verbally and in writing
- Driver's license
