Our portfolio in the Sustainability segment has been developing for two years and now includes a professional knowledge database and software solutions that are in various stages of development.
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our Sustainability product teams and lead the design for our complex B2B solutions.
From a UX perspective, you will explore the sustainability market in a project setup, with UX Reseach and Product Manager, and design products as an integrative part of Scrum teams.
This role requires a deep understanding of the entire design process : from discovery to delivery. The ideal candidate should be experienced in greenfield design, rapid prototyping, concept validation and journey mapping.
Responsibilities
You design end-to-end solutions and take an overarching role as an expert to develop a consistent user experience across all products
Team player : You work closely with all stakeholders of different nationalities along the projects and react proactively to the requirements in the products
In the discovery phase, you derive product concepts based on user needs and build a user journey map with the insights gained
You ll work across external and internal stakeholders (development, product owners, product- and business management), particularly those fluent in German.
We also address the DACH region with our solutions. Your elaborate german language is needed for an effective communication and the correct interpretation of legislation
Explorative tests are an integral part of your working method to validate your concept ideas via multi-variants in each iteration
You work systematically and develop in-depth solutions for user needs step by step.
You know the advantages of a design system and quickly familiarise yourself with the way our existing system works to maintain consistency, efficiency and speed across projects and to continuously develop the library further
Requirements
- C2 or native German speaker
- English skills at B2 level
- Extensive and long-standing experience in UX design, with a focus on complex B2B solutions.
- Self-responsible and self-organised work with different product teams to perceive the different requirements and take responsibility for the UX perspective
- Expertise in rapid prototyping as well as concept creation and validation techniques.
- Experience in working and concept creation in a design system environment.
- Face-to-face meetings promote close collaboration and quality, which is why travelling regularly to the project teams in Freiburg and Barcelona is very important.

Do you live in Germany? With this position you can work remotely throughout Germany. We meet in person regularly to work on common topics as a UX team.

Do you live in Spain? The entire location meets once a week in the office. Relocation to Barcelona is provided if necessary.
