Data Engineer
This role is two days a week in the Munich office;
Few&Far are partnered with one of the fastest-growing travel tech companies in Europe. They recently secured €100 million funding round allowing them to improve all of their services and achieve their next milestones.
They are looking for a Data Engineer to be a part of the Marketing team with the mission to be able to extract meaningful information from all that data so that we can better target our Marketing Campaigns..
- Responsibilities;
- You will be part of the Marketing Engineering team. This team is responsible for supporting all the Marketing teams with technology solutions that enable and scale their efforts to optimise the campaigns and effectively reach their target audiences.
- Your team will consist of 3 software engineers.
- You will be responsible for various data pipelines that help automate the extremely complex and massive process of configuring different marketing channels.
For example, Google, Microsoft and Apple ads, just to name a few.
- You will work in close collaboration with our data analytics and data engineering teams in Business Intelligence as well as the Marketing teams themselves, by providing them with data on the Marketing performance.
- Requirements;
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer - ideally in a startup or scale-up
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or other related fields
- Strong programming skills in SQL and Python. Familiarity with Java is a plus.
- Experience building and implementing Lakehouse architectures in AWS or other similar setups.
- Effectively build batch and streaming data pipelines using technologies such as Airflow, DBT, Redshift, Athena / Presto, Firehose, Spark, SQL databases or similar technologies.
