Operations and Maintenance Manager (LNG Terminal)
Strategic Staffing International’s Customer, KN Energies, has recently won a tender launched by Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET ), the state-owned entity, to provide technical operation and maintenance services for the LNG terminal Wilhelmshaven 2.
Thus, the company is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Manager responsible for the overall management of O&M services at the LNG terminal, leading the organization’s activities and resources, ensuring compliance of processes with German legal acts, and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage activities of the organization, employ, and dismiss staff
- Sign organization’s financial statements and other internal and external documents
- Represent the organization in relationships with clients, authorities, corporate bodies and other third parties
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and integrity of LNG terminal operations, as defined by applicable rules, regulations, operational and HSEQ KPIs, including regasified natural gas delivery to the German gas grid, process variables, and auxiliary systems of marine jetty subsea PLEM and riser, mooring equipment, jetty facilities, fire and gas detection, etc.
- Manage terminal maintenance activities, contractors, spare parts and consumables
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and adherence to O&M plans and schedules
- Prepare and control annual budget, ensure delivery of the set goals
- Implement organization’s policies and procedures
- Seek continuous improvements and operational excellence in the organization’s activities
- Provide response at the LNG terminal during abnormal and emergency situations
QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATES, AND EXPERIENCE :
- Technical degree in engineering or other technical discipline (mechanical engineering, electrical & automation, marine, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in Operations & Maintenance of oil & natural gas, petrochemical, power generation, production, or logistic / transportation sector.
Experience in LNG would be an advantage.
- 3+ years of team management experience within the relevant industry
- Strong knowledge of technical regulations and standards of the energy sector
- Fluency (B2 or higher) in English and German languages
- Excellent supervisory and organizational skills
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving solving and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and delegate work effectively
Salary ranges : 90,000 - 140,000 EUR gross annually (depending on your skills and prior experience)
