Senior Product Control Analyst - Energy Trading
My client is a Global Integrated Energy business based in Hamburg , Germany. The company is built on the base of a very strong traditional oil trading and processing business and are also innovating and seeing increasing new business activities emerge within Ammonia, Power, Gas, biofuels and renewables .
The company is looking to add to their Product Control team (middle office / trade control) with the appointment of a Senior Product Control Analyst to be based out of the head office in Hamburg.
This is a crucial position within the growing middle office team, reporting to the Head of level with a broad remit internationally.
The role is responsible for daily and monthly p&l reporting and analysis across the liquid fuel (oil) , biofuel and gas portfolio.
Working closely with the front office / traders , this is a commercially minded middle office position, working daily to reconcile physical and derivative trades , calculating and monitoring daily positions , exposure reporting and assisting in developing and ensuring robust controls across the ETRM systems .
I'm looking for someone from an energy, oil & gas, or commodity trading background who has an understanding of both physical and derivative trading .
You will be skilled in product control / trade control / middle office reporting and p&l analysis and explanations.
