Lead Software Engineer
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to guide our client's product development team in meeting critical product deadlines and fulfilling customer requirements with precision and innovation.

What You'll Do
- Play a key role in developing the fastest and most scalable SSAI platform, significantly influencing product evolution and market competitiveness.
- Take charge of product development by leading the planning and architectural efforts to meet stringent product deadlines and fulfill customer requirements.
- Engage directly in coding, especially for critical components, while focusing on the optimization of algorithms.
- Establish and uphold coding standards
- Enhance the team's ability to plan and deliver effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand product capabilities and tackle complex technical challenges.
What You Bring to the Table
- Required strong expertise in Node.js , with additional experience in Golang or similar languages highly beneficial.
- A minimum of 7 years in software engineering and previous experience in a leadership role within a quality-focused development environment, preferably involving video streaming technology.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to clean coding practices, including familiarity with tools like ESLint, Prettier, Husky, Gitlab-ci, Docker, a strict merge request workflow, and automated versioning.
- Experience with MongoDB or other time series databases (TSDB).
- Systems knowledge, including proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and Helm, GitLab, Jenkins, and Micro-Service Architecture.
- German at a C1 level for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
- English proficiency for international collaboration.
- Based in Berlin or nearby.

- A salary of 90K to 105K / year, with a performance-based variable component (5% - 8%).
