Key Account Manager - Automotive / Complete Seat
We are currently partnered with a leading automotive component manufacturer specializing in interior systems looking to expand their team in Germany with a Key Account Manager to take responsibility for managing client relationships within the automotive seating sector.
This position is can be based in either Munich or Wolfsburg, Germany.
Key responsibilities for this Key Account Manager position :
- Act as the primary contact for key accounts, overseeing all aspects of client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand accounts, introducing products and services that align with client needs and company goals.
- Work closely with internal teams (engineering, production, quality) to ensure products and solutions are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
- Monitor account performance to ensure profitability and adherence to budget goals.
- Address client concerns proactively, providing solutions that enhance customer experience and build loyalty.
Key Requirements :
- At least 5 years of key account management experience in the automotive industry, focusing on seating systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in automotive engineering or management are advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and German is required.
- Knowledge of automotive seating systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive sector.
