Internship in Natural Language Processing / Named Entity Recognition
Job Description
- During your internship, you will become part of an innovative and agile team and contribute your knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) with a focus on transformational models in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Named Entity Recognition (NER) in the context of industrial applications.
- You will take over, maintain and further develop an existing machine learning program for anonymizing internal departmental data.
The program is based on a transformer model (NER) and is trained with a proprietary data generator.
- Furthermore, you will secure that our ML models are accessible as a service via pipelines in an Azure cloud environment.
- You will work closely with the team and advanced interfaces to ensure your issues are technically documented and information is shared quickly across the organization.
- Finally, you will work largely independently and actively. The exact areas of responsibility will be flexibly adapted to your experience, wishes, and abilities during your internship.
Qualifications
- Education : studies in the field ofComputer Science, Data Science or comparable with advanced basic studies
- Experience and Knowledge : inTransformer models with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Named Entity Recognition (NER);
Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch; some experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure and Databricks
- Personality and Working Practice : a person withstructured and responsible work ethic
- Languages : good in German and English

Duration : 6 months
