Configuration Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities :
- Provide expert knowledge in configuration management to prevent undocumented changes, system inconsistencies, or compliance issues
- Take responsibility to process engineering change requests regarding technical documentations
- Drive related configuration management activities :
- Create new material numbers
- Create / change / maintenance of BOMs (manual and via Excel upload)
- Create and maintain info structures
- Manage product status throughout the product lifecycle
- Maintenance of US and EU ECCN codes
- Connect a material number with a supplier / manufacturer
- Document trade compliance and material declarations
o document upload and approval workflow
- Connect BOMs in the PLM system
- Ensure data quality of data via reports and queries, perform mass data updates
- Supporting problem solving initiatives and root cause analysis
Key Qualifications :
- Completed (technical) university degree, e.g. in mechanical engineering alternatively apprenticeship with further training as a technician
- Strong experience in change management, configuration management or process engineering
- Solid understanding of PLM Systems
- Strong method competence
- Structured and results-oriented way of working
- High social competence and ability to work in a team
- Very good written and spoken English
