Job Description
We are looking on behalf of our client, a global real estate company with offices in over 30 countries and more than 20 years of experience in the market, for a new team member to join their Property Management team as an Operation Property Manager Germany.
Facilities Operations Manager Germany (m / f / d) Düsseldorf
Key Responsibilities :
- Overseeing maintenance and technical operations of managed properties across Germany to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Coordinating resource management to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
- Implement measures to improve resource efficiency and environmental sustainability.
- Evaluate and manage service providers (security, cleaning, maintenance) to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with local authorities to maintain safety standards.
- Lead the assessment and approval of tenant construction projects.
- Monitor and analyse maintenance reports to identify and address issues.
- Support the SHE management system in compliance with best practices and legal standards.
- Train and support teams in implementing SHE practices and managing external audits.
Your Profile :
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety / Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail property management or a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of operational management, legal regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience with environmental and energy management systems and BREEAM or LEED certifications.
- Proven ability to work with service providers and contractors to meet agreed service levels.
- Fluent in English and German, with strong MS Office skills.
