Role Summary :
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrate diverse data sources (IoT, weather, financial, etc.
and build cloud-based solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that power renewable energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and optimize robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Integrate and manage diverse data sources.
- Architect cloud data solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ensure data quality and governance.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead best practices.
- Automate and optimize data workflows for performance.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with strong Python, SQL, and big data frameworks.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift).
- Experience with ETL tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, etc.
- Familiarity with agile and DevOps practices (CI / CD, Terraform).
- Strong communication skills (German).
- Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
