Python Software Engineer Backend & Cloud

Your tasks

In this role, you'll be responsible for systematic data processing, building cloud-native microservices, developing new data pipelines, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure with the team.

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native analytics microservices
• Deploy and manage microservices on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Monitor and observe microservices to ensure optimal performance, scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to realize new feature requests and customer needs
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and cloud technologies
• Presenting your work, internally and to customers

Your profile

• You write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• You bring solid experience in processing, transforming and preparing complex data sets and have ideally applied this in a product context already.
• You have practical experience in backend development in Python environments (preferably also with C# and .NET or server-side JavaScript with Node.js).
• You have high standards when it comes to the quality and transparency of your code
• You are used to working in agile environments (Scrum, git, ...).
• A good understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP completes your profile, as do DevOps and Cloud Deployment experience
• You communicate openly and with appreciation, also among multi-disciplinary colleagues

Our service is highly scalable and runs in the Azure and AWS clouds. It consists of services such as serverless functions, data lakes, message brokers and different database and datawarehouse systems, e.

g. Elasticsearch and ClickHouse. The backend stack is mainly based on C#, .NET, Python and JavaScript.

Languages and technologies can be learned. We do not expect you to have specialist and practical knowledge in all the above areas.
