SSBI Head of Business Projects and Transformation, Managing Director
The purpose of the role is to lead and manage the business project portfolio, drive strategic transformation initiatives, including designing target operating model and structure for the Business Project organization in SSBI, ensure quality and efficiency in project delivery, and align business processes with organizational goals to achieve high performance and successful project outcomes.
Operational Management :
Oversee the SSBI project portfolio from the business side
Allocate resources to business projects within the team’s scope
Ensure quality assurance of project managers and business analysts
Drive change processes and the transformation agenda
Maintain the SSBI Project Management framework
Strategic Alignment :
Link to global and IT project management frameworks
Connect with the strategy team for strategic initiative implementation
Oversee budget transparency and management for Business Projects.
Report on Projects and Initiatives progress (MIS / Executive 1-pagers)
Organizational Design and Transformation :
Design the Target Operating Model for Portfolio & Project Management SSBI centralized organization, including structures, processes and skills
Analyze and assess resource, skill requirements and proficiency, including the identification of non-project-related resources in central PM teams
Conduct skills and proficiency analysis and identify training needs against skill requirements, align results with the target operating model and make required decisions

Skills and Experience
Extensive Experience in managing and overseeing complex projects in an international context
Min. 10+ years of relevant work experience (Managing complex programs / transformation units and project / change professionals in large financial institutions focusing on strategy development, and implementation)
Ability to manage large implementation programs and handle regulatory requirements in a complex organizational setting
Demonstrated experience in formulating strategy and risks, with the ability to implement change
Excellent communication skills with strong influencing abilities and the ability to simplify complex issues for stakeholders.
Pragmatic problem-solving mindset with the ability to tackle difficult issues
Strong leadership skills to guide all parties to outcomes in the best interest of risk appetite and business objectives
Advanced project management skills supported by relevant credential (PMP, MSP or equivalent)
Ability to coach and develop a high performing staff
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Project Management tools
